TakeCare

A medication reminder for Android — it tracks your doses and wakes you up when one is due, including at night.

Download the app

Requires Android 8.0 or newer.

Before you install

This is a private test build, not a Play Store app. Android will therefore push back three times, and each warning looks like something went wrong. Nothing did — here is what to expect:

  1. Chrome warns about the file type. Choose Download anyway.
  2. Android asks whether to allow installs from this source. Grant it to Chrome (or to your file manager, if you open the file from there).
  3. Play Protect says the app is unrecognised. Choose Install anyway. Play Protect flags every app that did not come from the Play Store — it has not detected anything in this one.

The app works entirely on your phone. No account, no sign-up, and it sends nothing anywhere — the reminders are scheduled locally.

Something broken?

Expected — that is the whole point of this build. A missed or late reminder is the most useful thing you can report: tell me your phone model, the time it should have fired, and what actually happened.
